Asmo Halinen
Asmo Halinen is one of the pioneers of internet and community services in Finland and he has a very versatile career in the industry since 1995.
During 2001-2008 he worked in Apaja, the company he co-founded in 2001. Apaja’s online gaming community service Aapeli is one of the most popular entertainment sites in Finland and it has already been localized in 15 other countries as well. Before Apaja Halinen was leading the content businesses of Saunalahti where he lead Saunalahti.fi portal from scratch to Finland’s second most used web service during 1999-2001.
In the autumn of 2008 Halinen left the operational role in Apaja, and after a few months break he started as a managing director in a very new Helsinki based start-up One did it.
Halinen is also involved in several other companies/start-ups as a Member of the Board or as an Advisor.
